<p>When someone hasn&#8217;t exercised in some years and then starts a heavy regime, they risk doing themselves some serious damage.</p>
<p>You may be thinking that incoming energy minus your outgoing energy is your fat reserve, this is only a very basic understanding though. In actual fact when you suddenly start exercising, you will send your body into survival mode. As soon as you do this you will start to have trouble losing weight.</p>
<p>While you will start building muscle you won&#8217;t really notice any weight loss because your body will panic and start to hoard its reserves.</p>
<p>Consider in nature when a person would have traditionally started to push themselves to their limits. It would be in an extreme survival situation or war, and as these are the signals you&#8217;re sending your body. It reacts accordingly.</p>
<p>If you want to actually lose weight then you need to make sure you don&#8217;t panic your body. Start exercising very gradually, while paying extra care to only increase your regime by a very small amount each day.</p>
<p>Remember that the human race has evolved very slowly over a long time to function in a certain way. Don&#8217;t try confusing it just because the television&#8217;s latest trend says so.</p>

This way your body won&#8217;t start to panic and genuine weight loss can be achieved.</p>
<p>The other thing that can easily stop your weight loss attempts from working, is dieting.</p>
<p>If you suddenly cut the amount you eat, you will send your body into survival mode which will lead to a change in your metabolism. This change will take the form of a sudden belief within your body that it needs to hoard fat reserves against an uncertain future.</p>
<p>It is a standard famine control method that the body has always used. Strangely it seems in recent times people seem to have forgotten this necessary survival method of ours.</p>

It is expected that millions will have weak bones, get diabetes, become obese, and die of heart disease in the next five or ten years. Will you be one of these people. <br />My responsibility as a high profile fitness expert lies not in if you like me, or even if you buy my e books. My responsibility lies in giving you straight talk with no sugar coating it. Some of you will not like what I have to say, even though it is the truth. And that may be where the problem of American is health problems lies. No one wants to give you the truth. <br />You want quick fixes to your health problem that has taken years to develop. You get it by purchasing gimmicks that promise you fast results. You fall for it, and at the end of the day you are more frustrated than every. Why , Because you are denying the root of your problems. <br />I have counseled thousands of people over my twenty year tender as a personal trainer, health club consultant and best selling author. And in all my travels, the answers to people is problems with weight come down to one thing: it’s a matter of choice.<br />My approach with people is, either you pay a price now or you will face the music later on down the road. I am really tired of dancing around and trying to delicately ask people to eat better and get some form of exercise. Will you be one of these people. <br />There are no guarantees that healthy living will add one more day to your life, but what if it could. At the very least, what if your day to day quality of life could be better. Or worse yet, what if tomorrow a stroke, heart attack, or cancer struck your life. What then. The first thing to do is for you to face the music or embrace the reality of your health. Accepting your circumstances does not mean you are admitting defeat. It means you are starting to build a foundation in order to move forward. <br />If you need to go get a check up, do it. Not knowing about your health is worse than getting the facts. If you need to ask for help, then do it. Two good heads working together are better than one bad heart. <br />In my father is eyes <br />If only I had known this was going to happen to me. That is what my father said to me last year in the hospital room after suffering a heart attack. The man who showed no fear, never sweat under pressure or complained about anything, laid before me scared as a little boy who just lost his mother in a grocery store. If only I had known, I would have taken my blood pressure medicine. I would have eaten less fried stuff, and I would have walked a little more, he whispered. <br />Denial, Pride and Laziness almost got the best of my father that day, yet he lived. He was lucky. The next time he may not be. Next time YOU may not be.<br />In a Nut Shell, <br />Life sometimes has a way of giving us slight hints or sometimes shocking wake up calls. The question is, Will you answer the call. Would your life be any different if you knew what the future held. Most of us would say it would be. The truth is in that old saying, We really are not promised tomorrow. <br />You may not be able to change when you will die, but you sure can change how you feel each day through daily exercise and eating the right foods. What would your life be like if you felt better, had more energy and lowered your stress levels. Can you imagine. <br />If you had to choose which one would motivate you more to exercise truth or the consequences which one would you, choose. Most would say it would have to be the consequences. No one wants bad things to happen to their health. No one wants to pay the price for his or her bad decision, right <br />Are you going to let Denial, Pride, and Laziness keep their grip on you. There are no guarantees that exercise and eating will prolong death or ward off a disease. However, there is a good chance they can give you a better quality of life, No doubt our health as a whole will get worse before it gets better, but it does not have to be that way for you. <br />The bottom line is… denying your health is a losing cause; entertaining pride is a waste of energy, and being lazy is no excuse for anything.</p>

You know the government officials, lawmakers etc. The officials in government that will decide your [ Health Care/Health Care Insurance ] future are coming back. Yes they are still wrestling with the famous or infamous House Bill 3200 depending upon your viewpoint. Does this mean goodbye to Medicare and Medicaid? Could be! Possibly and maybe! Who knows at this point? This blog remains neutral to the issues, outcome, etc. and only publishes current information. Our concern is weight loss and health.</p>
<p>One of the real large issues with this bill is the overriding decision making and implementation concerning your health. Hey wait a minute! Yes someone else will decide your health status and decide if you deserve or qualify for certain health care. Enter the so called Death Panels as some have named them. These panels will determine whether you qualify for certain treatments or operation etc. Well what kind of patients would be on the so called Hit List as some have described? Are the panels going to pull the plug on Grandma?</p>
<p>According to information leaked out, [officials are dancing around explanations] concerning certain groups that will be targeted for health care denial. Whoa! What? Health care denial? Yes that is the understanding that is being expressed and written about by individuals who read the bill. Astounding! You mean that somebody actually read the bill? Read the bill in its entirety? Yes but the lawmakers themselves have admitted that they themselves have not read the [over 1000 pages] bill. We all know that any bill proposals are chuck full of add-on&#8217;s buried within the structure and unseen. Later when the bill is passed out comes the add-on gremlins. Too late if a bill passed.</p>
<p>OK who are the targeted groups for denial? On group is the elderly. The elderly? Yes the elderly. Why? Well the statistics show that from the age of 20 to 50 there is little health care needs or claims by comparison. Below 20 are growing up health issues and accident claims. Then from the age 50 to 60 some increases due to stress, heart problems, cancer developing etc. etc. From 60 on up the health claims rise considerably. Should grandma be granted a heart operation? Don&#8217;t know. The panel will determine that. Could Grandma possibly continue on with just some sort of medicine? Maybe. The panel makes the call according to the bill. Wow! Do you like it so far?</p>
<p>OK who else is targeted? Want to take a guess? The over weight are by far the most highly targeted group. But the thinking and reasoning here is different. This group as a whole is responsible for more than one half of the entire health care costs in the US. Wow! In the US, almost half the population is overweight and one-third of the nation is considered obese! Almost everywhere you go in the US, there&#8217;s someone near you with a very serious overweight problem. This is particularly evident in restaurants, cafeterias, or buffets. You don&#8217;t have to look hard to find people eating food way in excess. Many order three or four course meals with appetizers and dessert, piling plates high, getting seconds or thirds. Some of that behavior is driven by getting their moneys worth, so to speak, in all-you-can-eat establishments</p>
<p>According to the language of the bill 95 percent overweight, obese, and morbidly obese are individuals that are willfully overweight. They are abusing their body by over eating. Then when their health starts failing they need medical attention skyrocketing health care costs. This overweight problem is very upsetting to see. It is an on going tragedy in process in the US. When you see someone with a weight problem, you know they did not get there by accident. So how do we cure the overweight problem? The first way is to start now to really recognize that we are in a silent epidemic. The obesity epidemic crisis in the US and in many other parts of the world is here. There are people in the US with over weight problems everywhere you go.</p>
<p>The thing to realize is that our fast foods and processed foods are at the root cause of all overweight persons. The next cause is the world that we live in that causes stress and anxiety. We all live a life that does not know what new dilemma awaits the next day. There are people roaming about without HOPE. Then as a result they are hiding in food for comfort. Alas! An overweight nation is born.</p>
<p>This blog has consistently promoted Acai for the overweight. Acai is natural and easy to obtain. Acai will turn around all overweight individuals. In addition the overweight person will need to cooperate with their body by refusing to overeat. The overweight person will need to overcome their acquired associated emotional barriers. The total person and their behaviors will need to be treated. Acai will get you there!</p>
